On December 8, 2014, Will Moundy posted a Cragislist ad for his lost dog Buddy, his dog and best friend for 12 years, in hopes that someone could help him find him. Buddy had escaped from his harness and had been missing for about a month.

Moudy was on convalescent leave because he had fractured his legs during basic training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.  His parents didn't want to upset him while he was going through basic training.

"One of the things I was looking forward to most going home on convalescent leave was getting to see my dog again," he said of his 25-pound Feist mix - part Jack Russell and part Chihuahua. #USAirForce #soldier #military
